Cornerstone is more than a church
The cornerstone, or foundation stone, is the first stone set in the foundation of a building in masonry work. This stone is the most important stone set, since all other stones will be set in reference to that first stone.
The entire structure is based off the first stone... The Cornerstone.
We have taken the name of that all-important stone and used as the name of our spiritual fellowship. We feel that, as in building a sound structure, so too should you build a solid foundation in your life. Let your spirituality be your cornerstone. Let us help you build the fellowship that helps you build your life.
Cornerstone congregations provide regular spiritual and meditation services but also provide a community center for members to assemble, study, and learn; for other Pagan groups to use for their services; and for educators to utilize as a spiritual resource. Local congregations may provide spiritual counseling, childcare, private schooling, community outreach, social services, food banks or other services if they have qualified staff on hand.
Cornerstone ministries provide a variety of non-profit, public-benefit services to the communities we live in. Pagan nonprofits sponsored by Cornerstone ministries can vary in scope and focus; for example, Pagan college scholarship foundations, animal rescue agencies, food banks, social services, family planning organizations, environmental awareness groups and beyond.
Cornerstone believes Pagans have the power to organize for a better world, to work together to make Paganism a mainstream world religion. Cornerstone is far more than a church, it is an entire religious movement, one that we think will change the face and course of Paganism.
We believe in the power of Pagans to organize for a better tomorrow, to become a mainstream religion with worship centers available to our people in every major city and to be a force for change in the environment and our society, but we expect you'll find a whole lot more, a place to call home.
Come, be a part of what we are building, tell us what you want from your Pagan community.

Capitol CampaignWe are full swing in our capitol campaign and things are looking good so far. We have a goal of $50,000 to maintain and run all the initial planned programs Cornerstone wishes to offer.
Highlights of our campaign so far include an anonymous pledge of $20,000. The donor's only stipulation is that the rest of our donors meet or exceed that amount by the close of Pantheacon 2014. We think we are up to the challenge. Will you help us? |
